The Mexico City Citizen Security Secretariat reported this Friday that it will deploy a security and traffic device during the 'Rodadas del Terror' (Terror Rides) at various points in the capital. In collaboration with the Traffic Control Subsecretariat, it will implement a security and traffic operation to safeguard the physical integrity of attendees, participants, and the general public. From this Friday, October 31st, until the conclusion of the events on November 2nd, 350 officers will be deployed, supported by nine motorcycle trailers known as 'bestias,' to prevent public order disturbances, administrative offenses, vehicle conflicts, and the commission of crimes. Traffic personnel will be responsible for providing escort during the rides to ensure compliance with the Mexico City Traffic Regulations and the safety of all attendees. It should be mentioned that the motorcycle rides have several possible meeting points, such as the Angel of Independence, the areas surrounding the Ciudad Universitaria Stadium and the Azteca Stadium, the Juárez Head monument, and a department store located on the Inner Circuit. The Citizen Security Secretariat recommends that drivers take precautions, follow the instructions of Traffic police officers regarding road closures or detours, reduce speed, and yield to pedestrians.
